I have over 3 years of clinical practice and have already helped over 500 marathoners return to pain free running. I started exclusively working online with clients in 2024.
As I worked as a physical therapist in the clinic for over 3 years, I realized that working as an in-person Physical Therapist was going to limit my potential to impact runners all over the world.
“You should just give up running”— These were the last words I wanted to hear from yet another medical professional assessing my knee pain.
For 3 years, I dealt with a detrimental knee injury that completely took me out of running. I used to think that injuries were just a part of life and something that would never go away.
I used to think that injuries were just a part of life and something that would never go away.
But when I limped past the finish line of my first full marathon, drenched in sweat with sharp pain in my knee, I realized that I needed to find a solution to reclaim my joy of running.
Running had become a part of me, not just some hobby.
I didn’t want to just run without pain, I wanted something MORE.
I wanted to crush my marathon time WITHOUT knee pain I tried everything stretching, massages, rest and EVEN TRADITIONAL PHYSICAL THERAPY but NOTHING CHANGED.
It took me 3 years and being told by yet ANOTHER medical professional to just “give up running” to realize I needed to find my own path.
I decided to take a deep dive and look at my body to find what was keeping me away from running. I was DONE with temporary fixes!
It was time to do it my way, I started to incorporate more strength, coordination and plyometric training that MY BODY specifically needed.
It was promising at first, but I began to burn out. I didn’t understand why others could run without pain effortlessly, while I had to invest all this time to get back to running.
I realized the plan I created was UNSUSTAINABLE and didn’t work with my schedule. So I dialed it back and focused on the MOST important movements I needed.
Through my new sustainable process in just 4 months I was able to run without pain AND record a personal best of a sub 3:50 marathon at the OC marathon.
Through this experience I TOOK CONTROL of my own injury and ultimately reclaimed my love for the sport of running.
NOW I help marathoners do the exact same thing. My mission is to empower runners to not only heal from their injury, but become stronger & faster than ever, so they can get back to doing what they love.
